At some point in our entrepreneurial careers, we all experience burnout. Burnout is defined as an excessively prolonged state of exhaustion which can be emotional, mental, or physical that cause one to loose interest or motivation in an activity that they were once highly productive in. For example, you feel excited and motivated for a time, things are going great then smack! You hit a Wall. You find yourself in bust mode being productive getting things done there are results. You see yourself growing but things start to dry up and are in a drought.
Individuals may feel, as if they have nothing more to give and are running low or empty with thoughts of being overwhelmed or feeling a sense of loss in self, direction, and drive.

When we examine our body of work on a day-to-day basis it allows us to have a better scope of our accomplishments to see the bigger picture. Listen to your body for clues and allow yourself to focus on habits that make you feel good in order to ride the motivational wave.
Tools that can help you get out of Burnout include:
- Going to the gym- working out and sweating out the stress
- Go for Calming Walks which allow you to focus your energy and clear out the noise
- Work on getting more sleep by focusing on setting a time schedule
- Eating Less sugar, to gain back energy
- Lastly, use guided mediation and visualization
These are only a few suggestions, there are much more. You just need to find the right regimen that works for you. Self-awareness gives you a chance to replenishing your supply of self. It’s easy to give up on yourself as a creator or innovator but when you keep in the right mindset and readjust your schedule you will find ways to stay fresh, focused and prepared.
